Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style to The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. Her first review was around the middle of 2009, after she was well-known on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of on the Channel Awesome team. The channel was online up until the end of 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts through her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series and co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The shows she appeared during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax however, she also appeared in the odd adult comedy. In 2009, after reviewing films her name was a hit in the forums of Channel Awesome. After joining the official team of Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She was a member of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
